I'm Brooks Brown, a southern transplant to upstate New York and media professional. I'm a newsroom veteran with more than 30 years of experience in graphic design, illustration, photography, copywriting/editing and communications. 

 

Additionally, I have worked in web design/development/accessibility and have five years in management as a Design Director with Charlotte-based American City Business Journals.

When I'm not cursing the brutal winters of my new home state, I enjoy cooking, concerts, drawing, farmers' markets and exploring the Hudson Valley with my wife
and spoiling our big chonky cat.

 

I also play guitar and have been in three bands, most recently Syracuse-based Celtic rock band, Attractive Nuisance.
